Foraging – mushroom or berry picking
The nature in Lapland offers different things on different seasons. We will be taken
to the forest and shown what we can pick to eat; depending on the season, it can
be berries, mushrooms or herbs. At the end of the trip, we will have a chance to prepare something for us of the items we found together with our guide.

Escape to Lakeside cabin
We take a short walk to the shore of our private lake, where a boat awaits us. Enjoying the summer day by a lake where there are no other people, is a day to remember. A short boat drive away, we arrive to our Lakeside cabin. There you can enjoy swimming in the lake, Finnish sauna and outdoor hot tub without any disturbance. You can choose your menu beforehand to include only small snack or even a whole dinner menu. The excursion will be finished with a ceremony of Lapland shaman drumming.

Sauna tales and legends
When in Finland, do as the Finns do and enjoy sauna! Sauna has always been a big part of the Finnish culture in many more ways than what we see nowadays. During this storytelling of the ancient times, our guide will join us to the sauna, bringing us awareness from the history to the modern days while gently throwing more water to the stove to get the proper “löyly”. We are also introduced to sauna whisks which are made of birch leaves and very important in Finnish sauna culture – our guide will show us how to whisk the proper way! When feeling too hot, it’s time to take a break outside. During and after the program, it is important to drink fluids – we offer you a non-alcoholic drink.
